By the way, is it possible to change the chain selector envelope grid resolution? i haven't found the way to zoom in / out. not sure if this answers what you want, but you can extend the area that each chain will be available over. right click on the chain area and select 'spread evenly' and exactl...

Never used that program.... I'll try that. If not, i gues i could draw clip envelopes, although drawing midi notes is more comfortable for me.

Thank you Tone Deft.

Chain selector controlled by midi notes

Hi all, i am trying to do the following: I have a rack with several chains, each one contains a sampler. I alternate between them via the rack chain selector. And i need to control the chain selector via midi notes writed in the midi clip. For example, if there is a D0 note somewhere in the midi cli...

I rather would love a new breed of mastering fx devices in Live. I have been asking for a long time ago for a quality compressor, and a maximizer ala Waves L2 or Wave Arts FinalPlug. A high end reverb would be nice, too. But personaly i prefer to stick in one environment (Live) for all tasks: record...

Recently i was playing with VertexDSP MultiInspector ( multitrack spectral analyzer ) just to look for masking issues on my tracks. Its a wonderful tool. You just drop one instance on every track you want to monitor, and from any instance GUI you see whats happening on the others. Just wonderful. Wo...

IMHO i would have merged #2 and #3, they are the same kind of request. I would love to see a general sidechain routing for all dynamic devices (compressor I and II, gate) in Live 7, selectable from mixer I/O section like any other ordinary routing options. That would be the most flexible /universal ...

I think that the capability for building our track view GUIs for third party instruments/fx could be part of the such demanded customizable-detachable Live's interface : to be able of drag & drop meters, knobs and other GUI elements in instrument panel area and save this configuration, in order to r...

Considering the size of some GUI elements that Live has, and the aiming skills we all have adquired over the years, i think taht an effective touch screen might be very very larger than any conventional screen, 24" or longer. Just like the table shown in the video. How could you manage a such small ...

Ergonomics (Abe's please read)

Like someone on this board said earlier, i enjoy a lot live's built in FX because i dont need to open windows everytime / learning annoying different GUIs, these fit and show their controls/vumeters perfectly in track view, and this is a very important factor for ergonomics. Thinking of this, i real...
