There's some great improvements there, but ironically two of the most i was missing since very long time, are not in Live 7:

1. Dual screen support / reorganizable views
2. Multi-take track recording (Arrangement view)

My initial excitement faded to a crescent disappointment... Ok, maybe next time

... or maybe never :?

This feature was sooo important for me... i would exchange all the new instrument bunch for it. It makes me think about switching to anoher DAW.

but Apple released the ipod Touch very recently i would call that stage 1.... of many its a transitional time for this tech (ie dont invest unless u have $ to burn) Yes, your are right... I just realised that! iPhone & iPod Touch screens might be the beggining of this little revolution. Hope so. If...

The question is, like someone else said, that the technology is already developed. Now there is needed a company / manufacturer that makes it real, reliable and afordable. Some time ago i read on the net that Apple would be designing a Mac with integrated touch screen. If this was true, i would swic...

Ok guys, maybe the tittle is wrong built, but you might be already used to my awful english language :D I opened this thread because i was very excited by the idea about reducing my home studio to the minimal expression: one imac style compact computer with touch screen, a pair of near-field monitor...

Oh I agree, so does Bjork . Although she isn't in this clip she does use it on tour. errr... yes, but i did not mean those kind of weird things. Just a multitouch screen, maybe velocity sensed; a big one, in which you may interact directly with your fingers (or other protuberances) onto your daily ...

Can you imagine TOUCHING Live?

Many of you may already had noticed those 'Minority Report' projects. I honestly think something like that is the future of interfaces. An Interface to end all interfaces. No more this stupid and plastic-feel bunch of midi controllers; no more takeover modes, no more cables, and no more Lemur soluti...

Everyone here knows that Live7 source code was lost due to a backup hardisk's
failure on Ableton HQ's. So they just started with 8 version which i am the only
beta tester and will be released* on 2008 Q3.

* ...If the now fixed backup hardisk does not fail again, of course :)

I'll NEVER buy another m-audio stuff...

Sorry, i had to say it.... almost 1 year after Microsoft Vista RTM released and no F***ING audio drivers developed, neither vista 32 or 64bit. But oh, they have plenty of time to keep releasing other bunch of products.

The worst company support i ever suffered ever. Never again.
