Re: how kool is Kore2?

Spooky - I also sold my Kore to pay for an APC40. Totally the right decision in my opinion!

I'm guessing from his signature, The New Law perhaps?

I've just ordered mine off of amazon.co.uk without any problems and it's also on play.com, but for £5 more!

Re: FS:APC 40 UK

I could well be interested. Just sold a bunch of stuff on ebay to raise some funds for one. Was going to buy it from thomann.de (cheaper than UK prices) but they won't have stock until mid August.

How much are you looking for?

Re: ScarKord goes drum and bass

Cheers. They have some good tracks up there for remixing - some of the time they are not so good, but that makes them all the better for a bit of remix mangling in my book :D

ScarKord goes drum and bass

There's a new ScarKord remix available for download over on acidplanet.com . It's a fierce drum & bass remix of the track 'Birds as High as Planes' by the band Bleed Electric. As well as suitably manic beats and vocals glitched to buggery it features some evil swept bass courtesy of Native Instrumen...

Re: Headphones Recommendations

+1 for the AKG240 - most comfortable pair of headphones I've owned. Very flat response and not at all fatiguing even after wearing them for hours. I did try out lots of different pairs in the local music store and found the Seinheissers to be pretty uncomfortable - but I do have a larger than averag...

Re: Novation bass station

I'd try and search out a K-Station rather than a Bass Station. Fantastic build quality, better sound and a built in vocoder too (if you can't wait for the one in Live 8). And if you have the V-Station plugin, the K-Station can be used as a virtual controller. Alternatively, if the vocoder isn't impo...

If I've understood correctly, that's exactly what I used to use EnergyXT for. Using the step sequencer, you program a sequence of notes/rests etc. As you play a key on a connected MIDI keyboard, it triggers and shifts the sequence up or down dependent on the note you are playing. If you play in a ch...

I joined yesterday, after reading that the deadline for registering Sampletank (and claiming your free plugin) had been increased until the end of May. The published deadline was end of April and seeing as the group buy doesn't finish until 30th April, this looked a bit too tight. Here's a link to t...

Another vote for the AKG 240's.

They are also very easy on the ears, even after hours of wear - never found the Sennheisers that comfortable myself, but that could just be my big head :)
