Re: Bugfix update 8.0.5 available

Changes from Live 8.0.4 to Live 8.0.5 Improvements: When using the APC40 Controller surface script, we check if the selection MIDI ports are the one from the APC40 What does this mean? because it sounds like a safeguard against NativeKontrol and Bome's translator patches to me.. can anyone using a ...

Re: whats the best sample editor to get?

I vote Ableton as well. crop -> adjust -> filter -> resample. BAM! everything but MP3. I hear a lot of familiar titles here, but no explanation of why they are better. Can't wait to get home to try it out. +1. I'm on deployment in Iraq, so Paypal flagged my account which meant that it...

Re: 96000 or 44100 is there a difference

so I use 96k because the latency is about half. is there a calculation I'm missing, because it seems that higher sample rates would require more processing power and would result in higher latency requirements. what's the math?

Re: akai apc 40

I'm noticing it too, but only with tempo change mapped to the cue encoder. all else, manual map and handshake alike, are working fine. your saying everything is jumpy?

Re: Finishing tracks: Some tips to improve your song production

Thank you for this post. I've been having a difficult time finishing tracks and at the least, this post is motivational. it's good to hear someone put the process into words.

Be sure you have your trigger finger set to MEMORY BANK 1, not the ableton preset. also, this memory bank must be in it's ORIGINAL SETUP. any alterations will render that knob, slider, or fader silent for integrated setup. I choose to assign fader 1 to CC 008 anyhow as it is mapped to control main v...
