Re: New Track, "A Summer Storm"
Sounds good! I don't know what the other posters are talking about, when they say that it is slow. Nearly 2 bps is not slow! The only issue that I had with it was the arpeggiated synth that comes in at about 3:00. I thought that it was very out of place and out of character for the song, but then I ...

Re: *New disco-tech house track using Ableton. Comments PLEASE!*
You're right about the bass. Funnily enough I actually I actually reduced the bass because it seemed to loud. Seems my Mackies are a bit bass-heavy.. They have that reputation... I think I've over-listened to this track over the last 24h. I can tell things need balancing but I can't pick them out- ...

Re: New track, is it release worthy?
That's pretty cool! Funky and groovin'! The main synth/bass is a bit overpowering, though. Right from the start, it sounds too compressed. I also think that the funky brass-horn-like synth that plays the occasional chord should actually play a bit more. I would like to hear it playing some cool, fun...

Re: *New disco-tech house track using Ableton. Comments PLEASE!*
Sounds good to me! The only problem that I noticed was that the bass that enters at about 0:30 is too soft and buried in the mix. There are some minor issues with other instrument levels being a bit out of balance, but nothing really big.

Re: any virus controll users out there?
I was having major problems with out of sync errors and with the Virus not producing any sound from the odd numbered channels in Virus Control. Rebooting everything would frequently get it to work, but only for a short time. Access said that it is a hardware problem. The tell-tale symptom is that it...

Re: Trade BlueCat Master Pack for your ???
Anything? I really have no use for this anymore since I got a Metric Halo DSP license, but these are really good plugins! The EQ is particularly nice, and the dynamics can do some pretty impressive things. I would really like to trade it for something that I can use: Speakerphone, Camel Alchemy, Son...

Re: New Song - Galactic Holiday
question did u use a snare drum at all in this song? i really couldnt hear one. I think if u added a nice snare it would drive the beat a bit more other than that sounds good. No, I didn't use a snare per se because I used the hammer sounds instead. I thought that the addition of a snare might be t...

Re: Feedback for my a capella/electro sound
This made me laugh!
I don't like the reverb on the main vocals, though. It is too big of a room, and it detaches the vocals from the rest of the mix. There is way too much of it, too.
