Re: for fun time PAIN new track
This is not my type of music, but the overall production is not bad at all. There is waaaaaay too much compression, though. What did you use on the voices? Is that the Live vocoder? I like the way that the girl's voice still came through all breathy. The song definitely needs an ending of some sort.

Re: My Song - Robdrums Studio - Home Studio Production :)
I like this song! It sort of reminds me of Whitesnake. In the latest version, the piano, strings, drums, and bass are all about right. The guitars are to low and sit back too far in the mix, though.

Re: My Song - Robdrums Studio - Home Studio Production :)
Very Nice! It has a bit too much reverb on it, which has made everything sound distant. It could use some vocals and a bit more of an ending.

I would also trade for the EIC2 and Latin Percussion or Session Drums.

Re: New track : no signal
It is the synth patch that was used to play the melody that I thought was boring, not the melody itself. It sounds like a simple oscillator waveform (a triange wave maybe?) without much else going on. I think that a better synth patch, one with a lot of interest and motion, could go a long way to in...

Re: New track : no signal
It is not a bad start. The mix is good. All of the instruments are well balanced. I think that it lacks energy, though; it is very subdued. The vocal clip at the beginning is too quiet. The synth sound that plays the melody is far too simple. Boring. It sounds like it came from an old Nintendo game....

Re: "As Sudden As" (version 2)
Sounds good! The vocals are a little buried and need to be brought forward a bit, but otherwise everything sounds good. The end could use a little work, as it is so sudden. Maybe a little guitar riff to bring it to a close?

That is a nice tune! I particularly like the percussion. The synth sounds are cool, too. The mix sounds good.

Re: my "untitled-lounge-track-edit-4"
Interesting! I thought that the beginning, especially the first 30 or seconds, was awesome, if a bit too loud and overcompressed. Then the drums came in and I was overwhelmed. Maybe it is just too much compression, but the hats practically ruptured my eardrums! There is nothing wrong with the song i...

Re: dartmouthian-plucked destroyer (genrefuck)
I didn't hear anything wrong with it, although the levels in the beginning seem to need a little tweaking. The rising "whoosh" sound effect was a little too soft.

Re: "Pictures in Motion"
Interesting. It's not really my type of music, but it is well done. It reminds me of old Styx. That may be why I was expecting some vocals. The drums sounded very different and entirely unnatural, especially near the end, but that may be the effect that you were after. Again, though, it is well done...
