Problem Assigning MIDI Commands

Hi, Every time I enter 'Edit MIDI Map' mode and move a knob or slider on my M-Audio Axiom 61, it fails to assign anything to the given controller. I know it's not an issue of it being unable to read the movement of the knob/slider, because every time I do, in the 10 tiny circles next to the Macro Co...

The rotaries too, with regular use, over time they lose that horrible click shit. Greets. PS - You hav...

Axiom's a great piece of equipment. I wish M-Audio's sound cards lived up to the ilk of their controllers. My music's not beat-based, per se, but for drum tracks, I prefer using the keys as opposed to the pads. The pads seem too volatile and unreliable. Keys are more dynamic, in my opinion. Maybe my...

the bits matter the most Disclaimer: I'm fairly new to all this. Not music, but all the recording/production stuff that comes with it. What is the benefit of 32-bits over 24? Why does Sonar have a 64-bit end-to-end deal? Is that just the processor speed of the program, or does it translate into the...

Live vs. the Rest

Hello, I am very new to Live. I've been tinkering around a bit in the LE version that came with one of my M-Audio purchases, and so far I love what I see. But before making the commitment, I am deliberating over a couple of things: A.) What capabilities is Live missing that are present in more "trad...
