new clip color - a variation of the track color

If the colours were divided into groups, a new clip could inherit a slight variation to the track colour. As a result, you would know where the clip belongs (could do colour coding based on the kind of instrument), but variety would allow telling identical copies of clips from different clips.

different modes for clip trigger and stop

Is there any way to make a clip have a different trigger and stop quantize?

I would want a clip to stop instantaneously but start with the next bar.

Re: Keyboard control of currently selected track etc

Cool, many thanks. I have already installed it. There are some issues with the character positioning on the little window (windows 7 64 bit, 1280/1024 resolution here).

Re: Programming for a usb blind aid

Are they helpful? I remember there were some agreements between one of those and ableton reducing the chances of other players. I have done further research to find out that first, we will need the device drivers to be written to enable communication at all. Python is on to of that, isn't it? Does t...

Programming for a usb blind aid

Hi everyone. I am supporting a startup even winner team creating a concept for a tactile matrix controller similar to push but meant a multi-purpose tool for blind people. As the prototype is being created in a university lab by our post-grad teammates and the blind-aid market is being researched by...

insert record and in sync record off in arrangement view

1. It may happen that you want to record a new part in the arrangement between two other parts without knowing yet how long it will take. You can insert long silence, record the part and delete the excessive silence afterwards. Instead, you could insert record, which would insert the recorded part j...

Re: GoodKeys - Adds many useful keyboard shortcuts to Live

It fantastic. Some of the key combinations are indispensable, like after recording on looper and creating an audio tract to pull onto, shift+alt+Left gets you back to the looper. Also, this suspend option with caps lock, very useful. If you should run of ideas, I would propose alt+right to get from ...

Honestly? That would be great. If so, I will give it a good thought and come back with a dream-list.

Re: MIDI Remote control script service changing too quickly

Were the new python additions a significant functionality boost to Live? If not, I would see new python in Live 10.

MIDI Remote control script service changing too quickly

Shouldn't Live maintain some kind of backward compatibility with control surfaces at least within one version? It was a loss to dump a KORG controller as version 8 made its intricate control surface half-useless, but now even Goodkeys (https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=220718&p=1710900#p...

Re: Keyboard control of currently selected track etc

Cool! I can't believe it has not been propagated yet. If it works, I am happy to put a link to it in a footer of my messages - if you agree.

Something is causing it not to work, though. I have posted in the original thread.

PS. Sorry for a late answer.

Re: GoodKeys - Adds many useful keyboard shortcuts to Live

Hi NSU_Spray That is a fabulous concept. I do not know why it is not working on my Live Suite 9.6.2 windows 7 64 bit. Could it be because I changed the installation folder? Still I did put the Goodkeys into the MIDI Remote Scripts folder, restarted Live - and the script is not showing in the list. T...
