Re: Drum Rack with Microtonic, Designed for Push
If you loved me 14.7% more, I would return that love by at least 26.87% by the third quarter of 2013. However, please keep in mind that past performance is not a guarantee of future performance.Sibanger wrote:I already love you Neb, but if I had a Push & Microtonic Drums, I would love you even more.

Re: Drum Rack with Microtonic, Designed for Push
^ Now this is worth talking about. I went back and forth during the L9 beta on 32bit vs. 64bit. I tried jBridge, and tested out the ram limits and what not. I always came back to 32 because 1) I never get close to a 3gb limit on ram on my Live usage, and 2) I cannot live without my 32bit plugs. Now ...

Re: Drum Rack with Microtonic, Designed for Push
^ agreed with all of the above. When I do a video using it and showing people how to build a rack that can do this kind of cool shit using Push, they will know. And they will love me.

Drum Rack with Microtonic, Designed for Push
Those of you who have Microtonic (still one of the best drum synths out there, see soniccharge.com), I've created a Live 9 rack of eight pads that trigger various sounds with Microtonic. I love MT because it is very low on CPU and sounds amazing. This rack has 8 instances of MT, one in each pad, and...

Re: Assigning footswitch ports?
^ This is all very bizarre behavior. The FS1 and FS2 issues need to be resolved. I can't figure out how to use Looper in Live mode, which seems to be a missing functionality. I will email support@ableton about it.

Re: Assigning footswitch ports?
I can assign the footswitches in User mode to individual clips, but it does not work like it does on the APC40 FS2, where a press can be a clip launch. It doesn't do that with Push.
So what I'm still trying to figure out is how you would use a footswitch to work with looper.

Re: Assigning footswitch ports?
^ Ok, just so I understand what you're saying, if I put Push in User Mode, then I can use FS2 for Looper and to toggle recoding in clips? Because as of now, in Native mode, neither port does anything. On the APC40, my footswitch in FS2 was brilliant for live looping guitars into clips, but I can't s...

Re: Where are the trainers in Houston?
The Dallas User Group is great. I worked with Todd Bitsche to really develop it, and Todd did a lot of heavy lifting to get that group going. I no longer live there, but I'm still a part of the group, and I try to get back there once a quarter. I also still have lots of Ableton students in Dallas. O...
