Esi Maya 44 -vs- Terratec Phase 26

Hi all,
Choosing between these two for a friend who wants to get DJing
Esi Maya 44
Terratec Phase 26

no inputs needed, just outs for FOH and cue-ing.
Anyone have experience or opinions of either?

Thanks, Ron

Help I've run out of ideas

Please suggest me some proper danceable tracks?

I'm looking for tracks to get people moving on the dance floor

But I'm finding it hard to think of any.

They don't have to be contemporary, or this or that, in fact no other criteria except danceable

Any suggestions hugely appreciated!

Thanks,
Ron

Cheers. Not sure if I could get cheaper than this tho (about 99euro IIRC).

Also, I would need 4 outs?
2 for FOH and then 2 more for cueing.

BCR2000 visual feedback

Is it possible to get the BCR's button LEDs to give visual feeedback of EQ3's kill switches?

ie
I have 3 of BCR's buttons mapped to the kill switches of EQ3 and I would like the BCR's button LEDs to turn off when I turn off turn off the EQ3's kill switches by mouse.

Any ideas?

Anyone using this?

My friend needs a USB interface for DJing (Macbook).
No inputs needed.

Just need to be able to cue tracks.

Is this interface up to it?

Thanks,
Ron

Master volume hugely increases when dropping a rack

Hi all, Anyone having this problem? ...When dropping a rack onto one of my tracks Live's master volume goes very very high for a few seconds. Very luckily I was working from headphones so my speakers survived. I recreated this several time with the same rack (a multiband splitter) Same problem with ...

Yeah the guy was definitely looking in a hurry and told me by sms.
So it sounds like he may have seen an output and overlooked the input.

Thanks alot,
that makes sense now.

Kettle Lead Question

Is it common to find a 'male' kettle lead? ie AC plug to kettle connection with 3 pins instead of holes? Or is it common /heard-of to find a device with the 3holes? Apparently the sub in the bar I'm playing tonight has a 'female' kettle connection which suggests to me 3 holes on the sub for which I ...

Gonna go with the above for now coz judging by other aspects of this controller I now think my usage of the soft is gonna be...

Thanks. Forgot 2mention that: "Relative (lin 2's comp)" makes the knob speed equal for both directions. However this speed is quite slow. I've just had another look at it now and this may be more down to the knobs being 'heavy' to move. I marked one knob with tape and found that it only takes a quar...
