'Zakkly, that's why I came to this mighty seat of learning to get the low-down. Just so you know all this head-scratching was worth it, $100 was an example, tax-only will be a fair chunk more than that. Hi, dunno which calculation you ended up taking in the end, but just to confirm that the simple ...

Re: Be able to drag more then one volume slider at the same time

You already can: select multiple tracks by clicking in the track header and then Shift-click or CMD-click to add more to the selection. Now moving one fader will move the others in the selected tracks too. Works in both Session and Arrangement mode.

Re: Mac Mini advice?

Ok, so you lot are gradually convincing me of the need to get a quad core. Current cunning plan is to wait until they announce the new models (soon, surely?) and then get a quad core of the previous gen (i.e. today's model) for cheap as chips. Save money and not risking some weird new issues with ne...

Re: Mac Mini advice?

Cheers - all good stuff. @eddiex - yeah, I have an external monitor kicking around, and can probably scrounge a keyboard pretty easily. Thanks for the confirmation about the MOTU too... @dave999z - that reminded me to check http://whentobuymac.com/ and http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#Mac_Mini and ...
