Re: Mac Displays

I might add that I run nothing but macs, and I love Apple, and those monitors are jizz-worthy, but they're a total ripoff. They can justify the high price of a lot of their items, but those monitors do not fall in that category. I mean, what's the 30-incher cost, more than a base Pro tower? Please.

Re: Mac Displays

I have heard that it's BenQ who supplies both Dell and Apple with the monitor innards. I have two 20" BenQs, both of which were $200 or less, and I can assure you that they're about as kickass as a flat panel can be. Mine don't have super fast refresh times, and like all LCDs they're probably not pa...

Worrying about being "tracked" like this is the ultimate ego trip. Like the fucking black CIA van is going to be pulling up in front of your house one of these days, as you are the Ultimate H4xx0r. Better double up on tinfoil. They don't care about you. They just want to know very basic infor...

trying

to better reach their target market, I'd guess. Google Analytics isn't some evil cookie where Google itself is trying to milk your SSN and medical records out of you; it's just really nice free stats for webmasters. I use it on my business' site, and it provides very useful information to help push ...

Yo

There's definitely an electronica slant amongst Ableton users, it seems. Which is not bad by any means, and I make plenty of demented beats myself, but I've always been more into straight songwriting. For years I made 60s-sounding rock songs with a 4-track, then some time making Big Rock with Cubase...

Personally,

If I were going to buy any camera available at the moment, at least in a semi-reasonable price range, it would be the Nikon D300. I currently have a D50, which was replaced with the D40 a couple years ago. It's an OK camera, and the D40 and 60 do more, but the 300 is a truly fine machine. Ken Rockwe...
