Re: Joysticks??

I always fancied setting up on stage with a bunch of stuff like this:

It's a USB toy train controller.

Re: Reverb

There's no such thing as a "reverb tab. "

There are return channels. There are inline chains. No such thing as a tab.

So whatever you are doing it's probably not what you think.

Re: Recorded over live session - am I able to retrieve first session?

Those are just folders I've created in Places.

It's where I save my songs.

Find where you songs are saved. For me that's in these folders. Open your folder where you save songs in the live browser and look for the Samples folder in the project which you recorded the audio.

How big are your Live 10 Backups?

Because of the way I work and save iteratively I baffle Ableton's backup system. It makes 10 backups per song. But because I save iteratively as I make changes that means if I save 10 versions of a song there are 10 backups for each, and they never get deleted, not ever. So, how many backups do you ...

Re: Recorded over live session - am I able to retrieve first session?

You might be lucky.

Go to the Project in your Live browser
open up the Folder so you can see /Backup and /Samples,
Open Samples/Recorded

if it's available it will be there

Re: How to record audio directly to ableton without latency?

The struggle against latency in digital recording is an eternal one. There are a bunch of hurdles in the way of audio to digital conversion which introduce latency. To get less and less latency requires more money (for a good quality interface), time and expertise. Very fancy and expensive converter...

Re: Live 10.1 crashes every time when trying to load a song

Hi, if you think there's a problem caused by one of our scripts then please contact support and I'll look into it. Hi there, yeah I was planning on getting in touch with you but wanted to try and nail down a few specifics first. These seem to be multi-layered issues so I'm trying to gather as much ...

Re: Live 10.1 crashes every time when trying to load a song

Did you try loading any other M4L than Convolution? There's a specific crash with this one when using the currently bundled Max which was fixed with Max 8.0.6. In any case that's quite a shitty situation. Are you sure there wasn't any Win invisible update happened recently on your system? You are c...

Re: Live 10.1 crashes every time when trying to load a song

Oh shit. I completely uninstalled Live, removed all the normal trace of it. I took out the 10.1 folders from roaming/ I reinstalled and then did another reset of Live as per .. https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209070609-How-to-reset-Live to ensure a totally clean install. No plugins folder...

Re: Live 10.1 crashes every time when trying to load a song

Wow, that seriously sucks Steve  At least you're now in touch with support. As you said though the solution for now is to deactivate your problematic remote scripts. Well, not quite a solution unfortunately ... because now that Live 10.1 is using the New Max : in an empty set with no remotescr...

Re: Live 10.1 crashes every time when trying to load a song

Yikes, my beta version updated automatically and now it also crashes trying to load any song containing a Max device. Following Ableton supports instructions I installed the latest version of Max and added that as an alternative Max version for Live to use... I restarted Live and now it's even worse...

You won't get an answer to that here,.... Cheers D Shouldn’t the feature wishlist forum be deleted then? Think of it like an old wishing well. It's been at the heart of a village for over 200 years and holds sentimental value for a few old men. It's soon to concreted over to form part of "the dream...
