Re: session workflow when recording more than one clip

The arrangement record options make no difference. When you tap a recording clip all other clips recording stop recording and start looping. Also I don't wish to record into arrangement anyway... I'm recording clips in session intentionally to be reused. Tapping a clip that is recording should only ...

Re: session workflow when recording more than one clip

The problem is when you are recording one clip in note mode the pressing the record button on a different track stops the other track from recording. This is without arm exclusive on and makes no difference whether work flow is clip or scene. It's like clicking your turn signal and the trunk opens ...

Re: session workflow when recording more than one clip

yes. i can confirm that it happens with release and beta. to be honest, I think it has worked this way for a while.

this sounds like the behavior may be changed -- that would be amazing!

Re: session workflow when recording more than one clip

I don't think it should work this way. I'm scratching my head because I don't think is USED to work this way. I'm on the latest beta but I see the same behavior in the latest release as well. I've found a work around in that I can stop the clip by holding stop clip and pressing the track button unde...

session workflow when recording more than one clip

OK. let me try my best to explain: Using push 2. Have multiple audio tracks armed to record. While playing I start a clip in track 1 recording. Then I start a clip on track 2 recording. When I tap the button on the push for the clip on track 1 to stop it recording and start it looping the recording ...

Re: IRCAMAX 2 anyone tried it? Is there a way to demo?

I bought the package. I agree that it was a lot to spend, but I needed to (for reasons ethical and practical) to replace the GRM Freeze plugin that I've been using for 13 years and the IRCam Freeze implementation seemed like it might be superior and so I took the plunge. I can't imagine that they ar...

Re: [amo] looper feedback routing not working as documented.

don't know what I was doing wrong before but it works (brilliantly) sending the loop through a gentle modulating delay in PSP's Nitro was especially gratifying. Over time the loop smeared in pitch and time seamlessly into a wash. Controlling the feedback levels on the delays in Nitro allowed me to h...

[amo] looper feedback routing not working as documented.

so, I finally got around to trying the feedback routing in looper, hoping to set up a nonresonant lowpass filter and a complex delay up on the feedback channel.... the idea being that the looper would, when in overdub mode deconstruct the standing loop while making it quieter and cut the highs while...

b11 looper bug when using a pedal: maybe resolved.

i have a bcr2000 and have attached a double footswith to it. I have been pleased to get everything working well with looper save one thing: when I double-tap to stop the loop after a pause equal to my quant, the loop is always erased. the docs indicate that an additional 2-second hold should be requ...

Live 4 has a bad summing bus? Is this true?

There is a big discussion over on OSX audio about the quality differences in the different DAW's summing bus. They give Live4 the lowest rating of the group: 2/10 What gives? Is it true that Live is so much inferior to Cubase and Logic in this way? I'd love to hear from a developer on this one. Than...
