Re: Stutter Edit glitch 8.4.3

Yea. Basically, my new computer needs more memory to do the same tasks. Honestly though, it is super quick now.

Re: Stutter Edit glitch 8.4.3

Hi Mal Thanks for the reply. The weird thing here is that it is happening on a set that works fine on my 13" core duo 2.4ghz macbookpro with 8 gigs of ram. This other computer is running Live 8.3.3. I need to try the set on that computer with 8.4.3b. If it is a problem with the new computer I am baf...

Stutter Edit glitch 8.4.3

Im having a problem where Stutter Edit causes Live to jump 1/2 a beat. This only occurs every 10 minutes or so of playing. It doesn't happen in the 32 bit 8.3.3 Live. I am using Mid 2012 15" Macbook Pro 2.6 quad i7 with 8 gigs of RAM. Live's processor meter isn't going over 25% and all other functio...

Re: Live 8 gets 64bit support.

Just spent 5 hours updating my current sets to 8.4.1 whew!
Sets can be much larger now which is nice, but cpu usage is minimally better.
Now I can justify a new Macbook Pro :P

Re: What is your setup for playing live?

Macbook pro 15" NI audio kontrol 6 (am planning to replace sound card - decent in studio, but for gigs I always had to gain it all the way up, and it doesn't sound as good maxed out) vestax vcm 600 as my usb mixer latest version of Live. Use the oddesy vestax controller coffin- works great- If ther...

Honestly, I cannot do without my Apogee Ensmble and Duet. I highly recommend them.

Re: sound card/interface

Your audio interface is your most important piece of gear when using soft synths and live input imho. I was using my Focusrite pro40 for about a year in live situations and was honestly impressed. Well, until I tried my Apogee Ensemble. Much better low end and bubbly top end. Great for electronic da...
