Affirmation please

I really do love my Launchpad with all its blinking beauty, I mean it. But in a second of plain insanity I exchanged my mind with a rifle and shot myself an iPad off eBay for a decent price just two days ago. Now that it's about to arrive within the next few days, can I ask you to show some Abletone...

I know, I am not quite helpful with this, but I bet this is going to bring real smooth flow into your DAW ;).

Re: launchpad... what's happening on MIDI channel 3?

If I understand what you are saying, I think this can be solved by setting the monitor back to auto (from on) on the midi channel that is routing the midi data back to the launchpad (to create the visual feedback on the pad itself). I set a button to toggle back and forth, and when I have the monit...

Re: launchpad... what's happening on MIDI channel 3?

Just do not have my Live around at the moment - isn't monitoring automatically set to 'Auto' instead of 'On'? Think me as stupid... I will try tomorrow, thanks a bunch :).

Re: launchpad... what's happening on MIDI channel 3?

I get similar things when I have a midi-channel routing back to the Launchpad as described, no matter what channel I use. Buttons blink in manifold colours both on user1 and session view, which only stop when I switch to another mode (and back again). Happens once I hit a key on another MIDI device....

Re: Pre ordering launchpad

I have written an e-mail to Europe's supposively biggest music gear seller here from good ol' Germany. So far no word that they should be hard to get, they're assuming material coming in on Nov 1st. I'd think he'd said if it was already sold out before release.... go tell me I am a fool.

Re: Win7 64bit

Yes and no. As for Live isolated you will not gain a positive effect from it, since, yes it was compiled in 32 bit. However, your whole system should, when running on a 64 bit Win7, be faster, depending on your hardware. With modern processors etc. you then should see and feel a difference when usin...

Re: Win7 64bit

Working, from my experience. Though, you know, it is not a program compiled in 64 bit. Have not used external instruments and didn't use it heavily ever on Win7, but so far it is stable... anyone else?

Re: APC40 decided to go into retirement to make room for...

I may be slightly off-topic here since you're discussing the war of APC vs LP. But as far as I understood, the LP is able to control 8 tracks at once in a song and then move to the next 8? Or am I only able to get my hands on the first 8 tracks? Just leaving out user programming on the 2 user modes ...
