Re: midi map problems

In your midi preferences where you have your APC selected as a control surface, AlSO make sure to go down and turn on the buttons for MIDI "Remote" use of the APC on the normal midi in/out settings. This is assuming that you are not using any additional software (bomes, yoke, etc.) :D i feel a litt...

Re: problem NI Maschine as midicontroller. strang light reaction

I called ableton about this. They told me that they didn't make a clear script for maschine. I think NI made their own script, that's the reason I have to drag and drop a folder into Live, before Machine shows up in the controle surfaces. I think there is something wrong in this script.

Re: Move effects and automation on midi track to audio track?

Is there an easy way to do this? I've built up a midi track with lots of audio effects and corresponding automation in the arrangement view. I now want to create an audio track with it's input set to the midi track, but I also want the automation and effects to move to the new audio track. Is there...

Re: Using the Akai MPK-25 Controllers with Live

I think the problem is that the MPKs do not use "handshake" method. Which means, the MPK sends data, but is not able to receive data from Ableon Live (no LED-Knobs) MPK does not check the actual values of Abletons Knob-Settings. My old Behringer BCR-2000 did that, and it was no problem to use it re...

Re: AKAI mpk 25/ rotatory knob question

I didn;t know "value scaling", and I used "soft takeover mode.

Do you use value scaling for this?

I expected to change "absolute midi out" to "relative midi out"

AKAI mpk 25/ rotatory knob question

I have an Akai MPK 25 midi keyboard. I have a question about the knobs. I thought these knobs were endless rotatory knobs... but when I link them to a knob in ableton, they behave like a normal knob (like I used to have on my uc33e), and not like a knob on my apc40 so, before I can move the knob, I ...

Hi I checked the warp tutorials for ableton 8, I did it like this and I am not too happy with the results. I warped the tracks, they are oke, but the with the snairs I can here they do not perfectly fit. If I would have been playing with turntables, I would have pushed or holded the track for a shor...
