Re: I CANNOT DRAG AND DROP AND FILES OF ANY KIND INTO ABLETON.

Sorry, I was being an asshole because you were using block caps. The only other example of this I could find was here: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=177830 and it looks like no-one helped. Out of interest, have you checked the permissions on your ableton folder, desktop, files etc? A...

Re: Tips/hints for running vocals thru Live at a gig ....?

I've was doing this with a live band earlier this year. First, make sure you have a fader mapped to the mic channel so you can turn it down quickly if it starts feeding back ;) We didn't run the mic through anything too complex, only ableton fx to keep latency low. I mapped knobs on my controller t...

Are you using your laptop's internal soundcard, and if so, are you using the standard drivers or Asio4All?

Re: how bout a Little bragging contest

I downloaded hundreds of gb's of those samples from the MusicRadar website without having to pay a penny for the magazines. Then I deleted all but about 200mb's worth. Winner

Re: Pretty big issue? How to perform your music live...

I use a Vestax VCM600 with a customised config so I can control up to 30 channels per scene and layer music that way. Its been a total ballache to set up but I know it like the back of my hand and is a pretty sweet way to work live. TL:DR description below: http://www.pssl.com/images/ProdImage01/500...

Re: Any Dubstep producers on here?

Hi mate. I've done a fair bit of dubstep in the past (I was on the B side of Stenchman's 1st release and have done stuff for Si Begg, Kid 606, Cut La Roc etc). Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Re: I wrote a free eBook on how to stay focused and finish tunes

That was an interesting read, cheers :) I've recently found (by accident) that the best way to me to actually finish tunes was for my hard drive with over 2 years worth of projects to suddenly die on me. I've gone from procrastinating over about 40 unfinished tunes in a never ending cycle of, as you...
