Re: Interested in Isotonik visuals but dont know where to start

Would this come down to the jitter components that are being utilised in the patch or is it down to the way the patch is optimised? Reason I ask is that I could try some feebie max visualisers and see if my system can cope before taking the plunge.

Re: does anyone have a workflow for.. this?

Why bother with using the OS to manage files and external software to record? Live can manage the files and record already so maybe I am not understanding your requirement. Just arm a track on push flip to session view and hit a pad to start recording your ideas. Hit the next pad to try a different ...

Re: Interested in Isotonik visuals but dont know where to start

Thanks for the heads up. So all of this is running on the main processor/cores or does it defer to the gpu?

Interested in Isotonik visuals but dont know where to start

So have recently seen the new devices by Chris Vik but i have not used visualisers before. Isotonik released another set of visualisers by ned rush so first question are these compatible? Do the newer devices have better compatability with current versions (beta) and official release. Is there a min...

Re: How to move Library etc to new computer?

The biggest issue I have faced is packs not being detected after a fresh install and for some reason it's more of an issue with osx than on win os. The link below explains the procedure for reinstalling packs you have already downloaded. I have found myself searching out my own advice a few times be...

Re: Why does Ableton keep adding new features that no one wants?

All I know is Ableton needs to work on multi-touch support, groups within groups, tabbed projects, better GUI, more window options, and an overall more stable program. Also, if 10 cost an arm and a leg I will ditch it. I'm waiting for Bitwig to add clip fades then I will probably jump ship anyway u...

Re: Why does Ableton keep adding new features that no one wants?

Why is improving Push and its integration into Live such a priority? Because Live was never envisioned as a normal DAW, even from the beginning. The earliest versions said "Live Sequencing Instrument " on the box. But people see track lanes and faders and automation and assume it's supposed to be w...

Re: TouchABLE 3

You usually catch them where they are most active which tends to be social media as smutek says. Posting on the facebook page for modstep in the past got me a answer within minutes. Annoying if you want to avoid social media in general but sometimes needs must  I run touchable and Pull/Lemur o...

Re: Push 2 - melodic step sequencer loop length

If I understand correctly you are saying that you want to be able to page to different sequencer positions or pages of melodic content in a different manner than just sideways movement that the current page function under Note mode offers. I hope I'm correct in this and if so then if you have your w...

Re: Live Beta 9.7b1 - nice

These last two beta updates have made a huge improvements to push 2 usability and I'm not a huge simpler user or fan and not really utillising the sampling feature set. The layout toggling with screen feedback seems such a small improvement but somehow it feels like a huge deal. Would love to see mi...

Re: TouchABLE 3

I would not suggest going to an older version. The whole ecosystem is pretty sensitive. The app the script the server and Live all need to basically 'agree' to work by being versions that each anticipates. If it was working prior to updating to the latest touchable rolling back to a previous vesion...
