Re: Fold Melodic Step Sequencer/Elektron-style "trigs"?

I think the screen should be utilized to show midi notes on a piano roll grid with encoders providing note level parameter adjustment note length, veloc, nudge, pitch, scroll etc. Using the pads to access note location now is less appealing with the screen potential for quick note overview and selec...

Re: Push 2 has blank screen until I click on/off in midi prefs

Hi and happy new year!

I have found that if there are more (hidden) instances of push display driver and/or other hidden push drivers that display problems occur on my win 7 machine. So reveal hidden devices and delete all hidden instances and see how you go.

Re: Am I the only one that feels like Push 2 is useless?

I would agree that if you have no idea how to leverage Live for your music making that Push would be useless in your hands. Changing DAWs isn't as easy as the software makers pushing for your cross-grade cash want you to believe, expect to put in hundreds of hours of use and study to to get your mus...

Please reimplament Push note layout options

Push 1 offered shift while in scales mode to access this (manual pg 545) but this now changes touch-strip function on Push 2 from pitch bend/modulation to octave shift.

Re: Muting a device often mutes the whole track

Just thought I'd mention again that this is really frustrating, and I hope they can adjust it. Sometimes, even when waiting a bit after pressing mute you'd still mute the whole channel. Does this not frustrate anyone else ? It puts me off turning things on and off at all. Love this device, and can ...

Re: Push 2 Scales

Why has my post been moved into this thread with no notification!? This shouldn't be lumped into a general scales discussion this was specific to the additional note options functionality as mentioned in the title post now lost in the garbage (with all due respect to op and issues in this post). Jus...

Re: Complementing Push 2 with another controller

Added bonus it does count in record and shift plus play resets arrangement transport. I don't use the a/b fades functionality and accessing sends is a pain. It's almost a one knob fader per function device which is why it makes a great companion device to push 1 or 2.

Re: Complementing Push 2 with another controller

The apc40mk2 covers gives me the hands on physical mixing I like with faders and solo/ mutes in easy reach and requiring only one finger To operate. I always work towards my completed tracks containing no more than 8 tracks I hate bank shifting waste of time imo.

Re: Reasons Why You Can't go Back to Push 1 or Love Push 2 ?

Let me be the contrarian then! :P . Your opinion isn't contrary really. The points I made above about push 1 and third party support in my mind make push 1 the better device for creative composition currently. Tough decision to give up all of those great additions. push 2 offers a new way of workin...

Re: Reasons Why You Can't go Back to Push 1 or Love Push 2 ?

Push 1 was all about doing everything her way. She never made time for me and what I wanted.  I had a lot of expectations for push 1 but they were never quite realised. Push 1 offers good control of Live and only falls short in a few places imo. Pxt picks up a good majority of those mis...

Re: Push 1 and Push 2 together?

I considered it for a moment because link works so well but decided it wasn't worth the cost of admission. So not two push units on one computer but two computers and instances of live linked. It worked well.
