this isn't the first time the beatles have sued apple... Back in the day when apple computers first started, an agreement was made that Apple Computer would never venture into the music business and Apple Corps would not venture into the computer business.. here's a quote from wikipedia: "Apple's ea...

check out any effects you have with un-tempo-synced LFO's or other types of modulations, since those little bastards dance to the beat of their own drum, sotospeak, and are hard to keep consistent every time you start/stop your song. the novation bassstation's LFO is notorious for that just an idea ...

What an amazing priviledge! you just cant do that any other way despite what i said above i have to say i totally agree with what you said as well. I picked up and moved from Vancouver BC to Orange County, California for a new job purely based on the people i met online. I have made a ton of cool n...

i honestly think about dropping all things electronic and becoming a park ranger at least once a week. i'm sick of computers - i work on them all day, most conversations are through a keyboard, and my eyes can't be doing well. Then i come home and try to work on music, once again in front of another...

Ableton should really implement a per-track render function like in acid.. that is so damn useful when wanting to work on tracks in other environments. A lot of songs i had goin on in Acid I ported into Live by bouncing down each track with that function.. Plus multiple envelopes visible on a track ...

i am definitely -- i used Acid before Live, and still use the acid paradigm WITHIN live -- i can switch back and forth between both progams easily Only thing about acid 5 that annoyed me was the media manager database engine thing... seemed a little too fluffy for pro audio.. but yeah, a few things ...

I have low expectations of software in general and a very low tolerance for wrenching on my PC when I want to make music. One thing I LOVE about Live are the workarounds, I don't even want to install Bidule or MIDI yoke because I enjoy the ways I can tweak Live. So, when my system gets weird or I g...

this isn't exactyl what you are seeking, but i figured i'd mention, cuz it's fun anyways.. I've taken part in "audio tennis" on other forums before using Acid -- where you would get 3 hours to bust out whatever you wanted, then you'd hand it off to the other guy and he would get 3 hours to bust out ...

Since Live doesn't really work well over two monitors, that's not an issue. Rather the both monitors will mirror each other if used simultaniously. That's where it becomes weird with different resolutions... Also when switching from internal (when on the go) and external (when working at the desk) ...
