Try warp markers, bringing them closer and closer together as you need it to slow down.

Instead of using two instances, why not just load both songs into one set?

I don't know of anyone needing more than one instance of live, unless they're running two computers, and that's purely for cpu on HUGE sets.

Money to pay for recording. Money to pay for printing. Money to pay for touring. Money to pay for advertising. Getting out and promoting. That's all you do as a label. If you don't have the money, good luck.

Question: Do you SEE all the notes in the midi clip?

Another Question: Is your keyboard set up as a control surface in Reason as well as Live? If so, there might be something going on there. Only have it as a controller in live.

If they're ALL playing at the same time, bounce them down to one track. easy as pie! Are they all audio or midi or both? I assume you're manipulating a few in one way or another through effects or whatnot. In this case, you should still bounce down anything that remains unaffected by you during the ...

Any way to make one?

Thanks for the video! Great technique that I will definitely put to work. One question - why do it with audio as opposed to 9 midi tracks and muting them w/ say automation? I am guessing it would be easier on the cpu load but not sure. 9 midi tracks = 9 instances of a VSTi + EVERY audio effect used...

Make sure when you go to preferences -> audio
The driver type selected for your card is an ASIO, and not MME/DX.

Your teacher is right, latency can really throw off your playing. Keyboard/piano parts, and sample triggering can get completely screwed up with latency issues. Good Luck!

I don't know if anyone else runs over to Propellerheads website regularly, but they're doing the same thing with ALL of their high-end refills and Reason. If you buy Reason you can get it bundled with all 4 of their hypersample refill packs, and it's only like $100 more, including the PRACTICALLY br...

8O, Americans have this great thing called Bureaucracy. See, we feel that no matter how moronic an individual may be, no matter how little they have actually contributed to society, that person still has the right to get pissy about shit and sue the hell out of everyone. Open live before you try anything else? I just opened live, started playing something, then opened a youtube video. Could hear both. I know it's not what you wanted, but maybe if you just remember that you need to open live first. and when you say "I need to close all the audio applications and rest...
