Lounge lizard floods undo buffer and crashes live

Hey guys, regarding the Lounge lizard VST plugin, it apparently fires an event every time one of the little LED's flashes on the screen. This gets caught by Lives undo buffer as "Undo Tremolo Led" or something to that effect. Anyways, the bottom line is that this happens many times every second, so ...

Why is clip automation recording not allowed?

As a developer by day, i tend to like logical things. One thing that is bugging me currently is the lack of ability to record clip automation. What is the logic behind not allowing clip automation recording, but allowing automation recording in the horizontal view? There has to be a reason why it's ...

I ran into this problem last night and did some digging in the forums, apparently it seems that the only way to get automation into the clips is to drag it from arrange, or copy and paste it in from arrange to session... someone correct me if i've missed something (which i hope i have!!) -tim PS Abe...

nah, i wouldnt worry about it, I had many people listen to it, and only one said the bass was too big. It sounded fine on my monitors here too, which is a bit of a problem. I think what happened was there was way to much sub bass, which your headphones and my monitors arent reproducing well enough. ...

Its a good thing i have a sense of humor and figure i can learn from this... or I would have been a weeping me...

take into consideration that live does NOT support mp3 (yet), so you better have a whompin drive in your laptop if you have to convert all your music to wav files to use with Live. I am doing a house party in a few weeks, and have to use traktor simply because i've got no space left on my laptop dri...

its not space thats the problem, its the processor maxing out methinks. Either bounce some VST's to audio or just use less VST's :)

All Ableton on this track. It's is a weee bit of a shift from the funk stuff I've been doing. It's a kind of dark, deep house track. The track has a garagey style bass, ample percussion and the staple gooey filtered synths. Also, you get bonus points if you can figure out what I'm saying for the voc...

with the right setup and some careful planning/practicing the BCR is fuggin tops with Live! Plus If you get real good with your fingers you can turn 4 knobs and press some buttons all at the same time! :)

are you using a controller?

I get big spikes while doing that, but using usb midi controller, i believe its either usb/midi transmission and not just limited to the crossfader (it does the same thing for any mapped control)... or is it only the crossfader on yours?

Creeping processor usage after long periods

Hi guys i've got a pretty big live set going, about 100 scenes, and about 10 tracks or so running on a Dell 5150 P4 3Ghz with 768mb and a 60gb 5400rpm drive. The audio interface is a Motu 828Mkii on WinXP SP1 with absolutely every tweak tweaked, power saving off, all appropriate services/cards etc d...

viewing multiple automation channels?

Hey guys. So I have almost made the switch from CubaseSX to Live, but now that I am out of the 'jamming' phase and into the layout phase, there are some things that are cropping up that really slow me down. The biggest one is automation... is there any way to view multiple automation parameters for ...
