LAnDR is great...but its an unsympathetic ear for the material involved...great for demos, online, if you dont wanna get ripped, but then not a true rep. of your work. Id suggest proper mastering over this app everytime, but, for soundcloud etc...use this...it over accentuates the highs and cuts th...

Higher core clock speed is better than number of cores for Live. The best processor on the market right now is Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2 @ 2.70Ghz and it's not the highest clock speed. Also, I have iStat Menus, and by running Live 9.1.4, I see that all 4 cores are equally sought, telling me that Live u...

I had the 12 core 2.6 for a few years. Live ran fine-ish... however, Live runs just as good (if not better) on my new rMBP 2.6 i7 . So much so infact, that I bought a NAS and laptop and replaced my desktop. I am muchos happy now that I have a fairly portable setup which rivals my $7k desktop, and so...
