command k turns on key map mode, then you select the track mute and press the button you want to control it. command k again to go back, then shift + command k to turn the midi keyboard off (only necessary if you use those keys)

you can assign a key or midi note to the track markers in the arrangement view. right click above the tracks to add a marker, then adjust global quantize to trigger them when you want. buddy before me's got it though, session view is the jam. i actually have trouble even making a track have one arra...

chyeah bro, you can even use simpler with init patches, or even tiny looped samples of ANY sound, then use pitch envelopes and whatnot, fun stuff.
