One thing that rarely gets any mention at all is the physical feedback effect from a live amp. You will never, ever, achieve that with a simulator. So for recording, live amps will always feel more alive... Your guitar resonates and responds to its own sound a LOT and you will miss that in all sorts...

I'm using one, no problems with it. It will install a control panel that sits in your systray. You then setup Ableton to use it. Options > Preferences > Audio Tab 1) Set Driver Type: Asio 2) Set Audio Device: M-Audio USB ASIO That will get sound IN to your PC. Getting it out depends on your setup HT...
