Re: Live 9 Suite - Your Packs changelog
Ok thanks for the information. Correct me if I am wrong, but back in Live 8 when we had the Live Packs section of the Preference dialog, didn't we see a version number for each pack installed into the software? I don't understand why this section has been removed from Preferences. That was quite ben...

Re: Live 9 Suite - Your Packs changelog
Hi, just for clarification... Are you suggesting that these 'updated' packs must be downloaded again from the My Packs section with each update you listed? I was under the impression such minor device updates would be added with the updated installers. I didn't pay much attention to the file size. I...

Saving Automation Clips
Hi guys, I've been working a lot more volume automation into my projects lately (into clips esp. using the Unliked envelopes feature) and I got curious about something, that I've actually wondered about before but never fully got to work correctly. That something is this. How would I go about saving...

Re: Tips for rolling off sub-bass?
Agree with 102455. Sounds about right here. This room is treated and very nice monitoring but that is not the all-important factor in doing a mix like this. It is ALWAYS hard to get a good impression of sub area. Make good use of reference tracks...compare compare compare test test test. Check with ...

Re: Waves Element synthesizer
Nope. It appears and an Audio Effect device, where it asks for a MIDI Instrument to be placed in front of it if I drop it into an existing MIDI track. If I drag-drop the plug into an empty space of session or arrange then it creates an Audio Track. Which version of L9 are you using? 64 ot 32-bit?

Waves Element synthesizer
Hi, I invested in Waves Element today but I seem to only be able to load it as an Audio Effect in 32-bit mode of Live 9 (which is the mode I use exclusively for now). Has anyone else had a similar issue in the past? Would you mind sharing any solutions you uncovered to get this to show up as a MIDI ...

Re: Push Secrets - aka tiny tips
Using the Sequent> scale mode (together with 128's) is a great way to find just the right sample to fit the mix, fast. You've got 8 octaves on 64 pads right there at your fingertips in this mode. You could also have several drum and fx kits loaded for realtime performance, etc. It's also just nice t...

Re: Can you save your project from Push?
Hi, I definitely can see the usefulness of such a feature. From what I have been reading and what I am understanding about PUSH, is that it is here to compliment Live 9 and not substitute it. This controller is meant to me used in conjunction with the software (brain) so-to-speak. PUSH is not design...

Re: Is it possible to browse and load clips?
I must say I cannot get away from this device. It is perfectly adequate the way it is. Perhaps loading clips is a problem because of something within the .asd file? Or perhaps it is something about that the clip info cannot be updated within the PUSH itself? I don't know, but it does seem a very log...
