tried it out for two weeks what a resource hog in Live... GURU 1.2 is coming out anyday and it is optimized for better CPU utilization. Also you can Freeze and Flatten to free up CPU in live. IT works for me! :D GURU is great(Actually i'm just printing the PDF as we speak)... Yes Freeze or Bounce/R...

I also tried the Adam A7 and didn't like the bass response. I then got Genelec 8040 which are better for electronic music production IMHO. They go crazy deep for their size. I also love the build quality of the 8040s, like an indestructible stone. you should see how cheap they look on the inside. W...

They are perfect for me but waaay too big and heavy to bring around. Price not really an issue (as long as they are not silly expensive) Anyon...

Get Yamaha RS 7000, for what you want to do it will work better then MPC, unless you get 4000. I heard RS are cheap in US. I am looking for one myself since MPC is too limited for midi sequencing hardware synths, it is not really meant for it. its amazing how much fun the sequencer on the RS-7000 i...

wow. What a tough decision. I make a wide array of music. I like pushing the envelope and getting as abstract as I can while barely hanging onto a dance beat. That being said REAKTOR would be a good choice yet Papens layouts are so clean and usable. I do live PA and endless panels and two millimete...
