Re: APC 40 Pricing EU Vs US > WTF!?

I tried to get one today and it seems like It's sold out everywhere and i mean everywhere and most of them told me even the next round they will get are completely sold out! Could be that the next round is already sold out in advance, but the reason you couldn't get one this week is more likley tha...

Re: Remote SL drum pad in Automap: make it not send note data??

For instance, I can change a fader's parameter to CC1 or CC127 or whatever. Otherwise what's that red field at the bottom with "parameter" that lets me pick the midi parameter type for? Interesting, when I click on the parameter button of a control I get a list of the different parameter names of t...

Re: Remote SL drum pad in Automap: make it not send note data??

I dont think you can actually chance what midi data is sent, using the automap server. What it does is translate the midi data sent, to the controls of the vst. So if you hit the left drum pad, it sends the C1 & a velocity value to the server which then translates it to the mapped vst control + valu...

Re: WHY MAC

Reliability wise, I believe that (apart from the real cheap as chips budget end PCs) that they are similar, I see Macs failing on a daily basis at pretty much the same rate as PCs. Maybe they fail a little less, but the severity of the issue seems to be worse, certainly a number of techs at out wor...

Re: Toggle for On/Off Buttons?

you can actually change them on the SLs Live automap Template. Automap only assigns the endless rotary encaders, faders and the buttons on the right hand side. You can edit the left hand buttons, drumpads & knobs as you would with any other template & midimap them to whichever function you need.

Anyone know vst drumsampler w midimapable patternsequencer?

My plan would be to dedicate my BCR to a drum sampler with a pattern sequencer where I can map the top 2 rows of buttons to toggle the steps (ie 1 button for each 16th). Reasons ReDrum doesn't offer that, I've downloaded quite a few demo & free vst's but none of them give you a chance to actually mi...

I'm offended for a completely different reason. Here's a screen shot of my generation's "fantasy career" based video game http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fb/PaperboyGameplay.png That's right. There were only so many paper routes available but we had it covered at the arcade for the dream...

Re: who do you report cracked software to for ableton?

It is literally like walking into a car store and taking the latest BMW with you without paying. To put it simply: NO! The BMW shop owner payed BMW for the car and as soon as someone steels it he can't sell it to anyone else. 100% Loss With pirated software/music/games etc, the original product is ...

Re: Looping audio without release cutoff. Possible?

you could simply render it to 2 loops length have 1.1.1 as staring point, and 2.1.1 as the beginning of the loop When you launch the clip it stars at 1.1.1 plays 2 bars and is then sent back to 2.1.1 repeating only the second bar which has the release of the first bar in it. Only minor downside is w...

I really dont get everyone complaining about the size of the apc: http://resources.ableton.com/pages/shop_items/80737-534300/detail_3.png Seems to fit in very nicely & personally I wouldn't mind a 19" rackmount version with 16 tracks & 10 scenes. worried about lugging it? get a few groupies  Y...

Mine comes from "excess"
added my initial and subtracted the c & an s to make it a little more symetrical & unique.
