Re: b17 - Hitting Tab to switch from arrangment to session=crash

Is noone else having this problem?

Quickly hitting tab twice also seems to do the trick. Even with nothing in the clipboard.

[5131] Hit Tab to switch from arrangment to session crash

Been having this all day, sent a few bug reports.

If (usually after copying automation from arrangment) I switch to session view by hitting tab, live crashes.
Clicking on the buttons in the top right corner works fine.

Running Vista 32bit

Re: After beta testing for some time-Will you upgrade to Live 8?

disabling the wlan card/chip is no problem. What I read somewhere in the beta bugs forum was that someone had a USB 3G modem and removing that made him have to re-authorize.

[awi] 8b17: copy clip envelope/Alt+Up/Down --> crash

In session view, when I copy part of a clip envelope (beat repeat / pitch decay on an audio clip in this case). Highlight part with mouse, press Ctrl+C, then Alt+Up & then Down to move to a different clip, live crashes. Sent .als file, was the same in b16. Also, in b16 (havn't tried yet in b17) copy...

Re: After beta testing for some time-Will you upgrade to Live 8?

Deffinatly upgrading! Suite this time. With Analog, operator & sampler I havn't touched reason for weeks now. I miss scream though, but overdrive has at least compensated for a bit of that. With the APC i hope to be able to cut down on the scene count which is pretty high as the Remote Zero SL autor...

[5030]8b6-15 Crash when switching onboard sound/usb interfac

Ever since I've been in the beta live regularly crashes on me when switching between my onboard soundchip DX (IDT High Definition Audio) and my USB interface ASIO (Behringer UCA200). Both are using the newest driver available. Running Vista Home Premium 32bit. I don't see any pattern in the crashes ...

[5005] 8b15 resize clip over another crashes in arrangement

I inserted 32bars of time then resized a clip to combine it with the one on the other side of the blank time. As soon as it overlaped the 2nd clip live crashed. restarted live, selected to recover my work. The clip that would have been covered by resizing was missing (crash after covering 8 of 40 ba...

I meant if you want to run live simultainiosly on more than 1 machine you need an extra licence. Getting extra unlocks after reformating shouldn't be a problem. A short email to the support team explaining you reformated should do.

The Licence agreement says you can install on 2 computers (i.e. if you have a powerful desktop for studio use & a laptop for live performances) but as creature said, you're only allowed to run 1 at a time (for more, you can purchase a discounted 2nd licence).

I've got 3 controlers (BCF-/BCR2000 / Remote Zero SL), a usb/midi keyboard & a cordless mouse/keyboard hooked up via a hub and never had any problems with it (automap also working fine). Whether it increaces latency? Yes, thats physics, a longer signal path (cable) means the signal has to travel für...
