Re: Switching MIDI channels with controller?
Global Channel The Global Channel function changes the MIDI channel assigned to the keyboard. Your Oxygen controller will transmit on any of the standard 16 MIDI channels. The Global MIDI Channel will affect the channel on which program changes, bank changes, and any controllers set to respond to t...

Re: Switching MIDI channels with controller?
I've recently got a new harddrive, did a clean install and havn't yet got round to installing kontakt. But with battery 3, if I have an empty midi track and select it to send midi to the track with battery on it, the bottom dropdown menu has 16 options called "1-Battery 3" "2-Battery 3" etc. which I...

Re: saving an instrument which spans multiple channels
Just use 1 track with an operator and after that put an effects rack with 4 different chains, 1 dry, and 3 with EQ/FX. Then select both the operator and the effects rack and hit Ctrl+G to group the whole thing in an instrument rack. http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/1259/1op.jpg http://img405.image...

Re: Latency Setting Issues Please help
^^talk about unnecessarily complicated explanations. To keep it simple: If your soundcard is playing the sound your computer generates immediatly and your computer is too slow the sound will stop playing untill the computer catches up again. The buffer prevents this from happening by "thinking ahead...

Re: Kenton killamix lil issue
When you enter midimap mode, what max & min values are set for the loop length?
midi CCs only go to 128 (or 127 if you start counting with 0), so I you're trying to control the loop length from 1-256 bars, the smallest possible step is 2.

...the fast track which has the aux from the synths output plugged into its output. Don't know if it's just a typo, but if you want to get your synth's sound into live, you'll need to plug it into the input on your fast track. The output is for the sound coming out of live ie. going to speakers/hea...

Re: ok - im struck with track record delay again
do the lesson on driver error compensation. Basically you have 2 audio tracks, 1 with a audio clip of a sine wave output routing directly to an output of your interface, 1 empty, armed and as input you select an input of your interface. Using an audio cable you make a direct connection from the outp...

Re: Midi/Clip Organization in Ableton
Well each track (collumn) has it's own instrument, and whatever clip you but there will be played through that instrument. If you think of it in "band" terms, each track is it's own musician, putting the midi clip on another track is like giving the pianists notes to the guitar player, He can play s...

Re: BIG performance issue on MacBook
While the error occurs the CPU meter is going to... 60-70% and then back to normal, 20-30%. Sounds like an issue with power saving options. If you have your laptop set to anything other than "Highest performance" or whatever it's called. To save energy the cpu speed will be reduced to 1/2 of it's a...

Re: Help with Novation > (Automap?) > Juno 106
Won't be in my studio till monday so I currently can't check what my Juno 2 template looks like, but the software editor from my remote zero sl says: 'use "DV" to represent the control value.' That would make it F0 41 32 00 0F DV F7 I think that's how I set it up, and then select the max an min valu...
