yep.....I freaked for a moment......but it does works by disabling the Snap to Grid. Slighlty different syntax in the manual.

Very cool feature

Freehand Drawing???

Page 143 states that for freehand drawing, you can hide the gridusing the "Hide/Show Grid" Option menu entry,............???

There is no such function!

And so far, I aint getting no freehand action....

anybody been there done that?

......i suspected that would be the answer.

in that case, can you suggest what is the best way to "clone" that track, so that I may keep the settings of the track shared by the two clips.....?

Ive been digging in manual...........but....... cant seem to find.... Suppose I have 2 different guitar riffs/clips on the same track.... Can I apply different effects to each clip so that they have their rown effects without affecting the other? Or do effects affect all clips in the same track? tha...

How do you...........?


I dont know how you would call this effect...Tom Waits uses often, uses it for his voice..... sounds like an old time record/walkie talkie...hollow sounding (not vinyl fx)

does Live have anythinglike that?

This may or may not excite....

If you are not seeing the auto-notifications coming in your regular Inbox, they are probably being treated as spam and going into your Bulk folder. The easy solution is to got to Mail Options and create a filter and create a separate Ableton folder
