Yeah, I bring my MP3 player prepped and plugged into the mixer for the odd crash and reboot scenario (has never happened BTW). When I was doing live sets, I would sometimes bring my wife's laptop as a backup, since it's indentical to mine. I usually don't worry about it though, never really had any ...

Getting that 'pro' and polished sound has very little to do with what gear you use, and a LOT more to do with having well trained ears, an accurate monitoring environment, and experience. Don't get me wrong, good gear certainly helps, but just cause you buy Ozone, don't think you'll suddenly be able...

Honestly I'd get something like a FR777 or similar instead. I have Tb303, in decent condition now after I had it cleaned and serviced. But rarely do you find them in good shape. The knobs crackle, outputs might not work, memory is bad, etc. The knobs of the 303 are very small and stiff too, not easy...

That was one of the first things I noticed about 6, navigating in arrange feels MUCH better now.

I didn't get it, though I was really close to buying the boxed upgrade for the EIC. I use Akoustik Piano for my piano sounds, worlds more detail than the EIC apparently. EIC reminded me of the early Halion 1.0 pianos, or those in Emu modules. Very bright sounding.

It's reported and compensated for, but it's still a huge amount, too much for live playing. All your actions in Live would be delayed like a 1.5 seconds.

To be honest, even thinking about using the Duende while tracking kinda misses the whole point anyway.
