I would recommend getting some white tape that you can write on, and label anything you find to be of regular use, once you figure out your settings - I know a few people who use them live (I don't), and they all have labels all over the place.

+1 I've tried several multitrack apps, and Live can pull of everything that's necessary, although there are obviously things that could be improved or expanded on, as with any program. I've gotten a chance to work with just about every DAW out there, and have found live easier to work with, as well ...
