most of the people posting on this are missing a couple of points 1 - converting to WAV or AIFF gives you no gain in sound quality. you dont 'gain anything' by the conversion except loss of disk space, and 2 - the cache size that Live uses for conversion remains a constant value you set, so losing ...

do you get the same problem whether the clip is playing all by itself vs. as a part of a larger set? yes just by itself what's your cpu meter reading? possibly due to cpu strain of complex mode itself cpu is cruising, just one clip playing so not strained at all what HD speed? 5400 make sure 'fade' ...

That when the loop reaches its end point to return to its start point there is often a glitch here ?

yes just like to add it was crystal synth au causing the crash in my case so with the au out of its folder the set loaded up fine

I rekon it just comes down to how many ins and outs you want.

I got the traveller and am happy with it because I don't need a pa mixer for doing mics live, just bring the sound into live and use live as the mixer with my uc33e :)

Does it really matter what format your using, vinyl, cd's, digital, you've still got to keep them organized so you know where a tune is when you want it ?

for me the key is just keeping my itunes library organized so i know where the tunes are being stored so i know where to find them from within live's browser, once you get used to it it's fine, just organize your tunes well from within itunes
