Can't stop thinking, wouldn't it be great it props made all the reason rack instruments and effects available as vst's/au's. wouldn't it be awesome if you could drag the rv7000 into live ? I'm guessing the liklihood of this ever happening is nil ?

Glitchrock, the problem is...it's very hard to get an accurate idea of how well the mbp is performing compared to other computers with this test because of the new energy saving feature in the mbp etc... etc... by all accounts it's performing well and the higher percentages are not truly indicitave ...

I didn't have any of these issues with my presonus firebox (maybe because it worked on apples core audio?) but in any case, I know at the end of the day which one I would MUCH rather have. The quality of sound from the traveler is ridiculously good. Also, my SPDIF lights are often on all the way up ...

I get pops and clicks through my monitors from my traveller when powering my computer up or down. Also, if there is no music playing for a while and I hit play, there is a short delay from the traveler, hear a click from the traveller and then sound, it does actually cut off the first second of the ...

I am pretty sure the new imacs/macbookpros have a combo optical/analogue out and in built in to minijacks so theoretically these should give you a very good quality output if you are going into an amp that will accept toslink or mini optical.
