Macbook Pro 5400RPM or 7200?

hi,

I'm interested in buying a macbook pro.
I see one that is available as a refurbished macbook pro, i7 processor and 4 GB ram at 5400 RPM..
Is there a big difference between 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM?

As this is a refurb deal, I can't pick and mix as if I were buying a new one.

cheers!

USB Dropouts during live performance - Korg nano - Help!

hi guys started using the Korg nano kontrol for my live performances about 3 months ago. I´ve never had a problem with it until last night when halfway through my set it lost power. The USB cable did not get knocked, it simply dropped out. It came back a few seconds later, but even though it was sho...

in-ear, sound isolating headphones with BASS

hey guys, anyone got any recommendations for in ear sound isolating earphones with good bass response. I had the shure SE4 before, and while the audio clarity was certainly amazing, i found the bass slightly lacking. I need these primarily as in ear monitors for live sets, and even a boosted, unreal...

Weird resonance on one note (G2)

hi guys, maybe you can help me. I've noticed that when I play a bass sound at G2 there's a big, subby, muffly resonance on it. Move it up or down one semitone and I don't get that resonance. It happens on the majority of my synths with a bassy sound, software and hardware. My first thought is that i...

WTF happened to Replace sample functionality???!!!

So... I don't think I've had to do this since version 4 or 5, but I'm trying now on 6... What the f**k happened to right clicking on a missing sample and have the replace option, whereby you could simply locate the sample if it had moved and bingo, it was replaced. All I've got now is the "manage sa...
