essentially what would solve this is if there were a display which popped up for each sample, displaying the waveform exactly as if the sample was in an audio track, and each sample could be affected/looped/reversed etc exactly as in the audio track.

oh... and another idea.. if you want to get louder headphone levels., just route the monitor out a spare output, and put this through a channel on your mixer or on the dj mixer in the club, plug in your headphones and then hike the volume on that

I've just got the echo indigo...

its possible, I do it all the time. Just click and drag the box underneath the tune knob.... don't have it right in front of me, but it is there somewhere: change the precentage and it will finetune.

yep you can do program changes. I also have that set up for my access virus. I have to add one to the number to get the right patch... eg for patch A 56, I enter bank (1) program (57)

and if you're just djing long tracks, it may be better to repitch them instead of time stretch them. This is the principle of mixing on decks after all.

Echo indigo I/O - can input & output be used simultaneously?

hola, i'm thinking of getting one of these guys for maximum portability when playing live... However I'm using an access virus for playing live as well, and until now, i've been running the virus through the inputs on my firewire 410, and running ableton audio and the virus out through one of the 41...

Problem with live: distortion on all clips

Hi, I have a registered copy of live running on a compaq notebook, athlon 2000, 512 Mg RAM. The problem I have started last week, where everytime I open up Ableton straight after booting the computer, there is a distortion on any samples played within Live. The only way to fix this is to close Live ...
