hi, i've got a minor but annoying problem where every time I load up ableton for the first time, it tries to look for a sample that I opened once. when the blank set pops up the sample is always there in the first track, although the sample has long since been deleted. you just have to export and import all the respective midi files and loops. the effects, you will have to compromise. I don't use the arranger view ever so the arrangement will be dependent on how I want the track to progress at that time.

cool... I getcha. I have just never had the need to open one song inside another (yet) I've always worked around it just by building all the tracks up in one session. its what i'm used to

er... live is totally geared towards live playing, that's why its called"Live" !!!. I only ever use session view as well. When i'm planning my livesets, I simply import all the clips and loops that comprise the tracks I want to play. Then assign as many as possible to keys on my midi controller and ...
