Capture/consolidate time to CURRENT scene

I have my scenes mapped to qwerty keys ready to trigger. I want to bounce parts of my track to these pre mapped scenes for quick remix. At the moment it creates new scenes and i must fiddle about mapping the newly created scenes to a key. Please consider making things quicker with this feature reque...

Re: Drum Rack routing in Live 9

Make a default drum rack with macros assigned to the relevant parameters in the sampler.
Select and duplicate the sampler 4 times and drag the different kicks in to each sampler.
Select them all and group them.
Stick a compressor after the group.

Thank you for getting back to us Jur. The solution cannot come soon enough.

my midi keyboard (and his friend, the mouse) says "hi". :D

Re: Push 2: Select master track-pads go to waste. WTF.

OK, looks like we are all in agreement. We even seem to have the ears of an Ableton employee, who agreed with the premise quite a few messages back. Brilliant! I hope Jur tells his lovely colleagues it is also just as important when group, return, and audio tracks are selected, that Push can retain ...

Re: Push 2: Select master track-pads go to waste. WTF.

It can certainly be confusing unless it can be clearly indicated what tracks you are playing. I'd assume it would be the track you were on before you pressed the Master button. That this would be obvious for you and me doesn't mean it's obvious for everyone else. I tend to not think only from my ow...

Re: Push 2: Select master track-pads go to waste. WTF.

Your point is quite valid dna. I can't remember if there's any reason for this to happen or even if it has always been the case, but I'll ask around because it doesn't sound right as it is now. Cheers J It's the same thing when selecting group and audio tracks too. Thanks for picking up on this Jur.

Re: Push 2: Select master track-pads go to waste. WTF.

Yes, it is logical for Push to display the master effects parameters when master track is selected. It is not logical that the pads become useless, just because there is nothing to "play" on the master track. This doesn't happen with any other midi keyboard controller. I don't agree that it would be...

Push 2: Select master track-pads go to waste. WTF.

This makes thing difficult for production. Really screws workflow.

Playing midi notes on the pads, select the master channel to adjust effects. Boom, the pad grid is now "off".

At least we could arm the current midi track, and continue. Not possible. Pads still dead.

WTF. How is this useful?

Re: Why NO options for Slice to midi from Simpler??

Well, it's The new, hip way of slicing in Live. Yet it's missing this crucial and obvious "old" feature. I have pitch, filter and envelope macros assigned as a preset doing it the old way. Essential for immediate sound shaping. We all know why the feature exists. As the new way doesn't offer the fea...
