Ok since you didn't say what a convoboy is I did a search. So it's a VST impulse/response reverb...and I see that you are on PC now and I'm on a Mac... I haven't heard any noticeable delay when adding effects to my performaces or even when using quantized midi notes with the pencil tool. The rendere...

I was thinking that too. But, I suppose they could get a percentage if they could filter that field in their system from the user registrations.

Actually that's not a safe bet because the percentage of musicians that use macs are quite alot more than the general public. Even just excluding corporate/business computers sales will throw your percentage of macs up quite significantly. Remember, we're talking about Live here, it's a music progra...

Ok, I think I know what you're asking for now. The amount of time from when you hit a key on the keyboard until the note is recorded by Live. This has nothing to do with latency reporting of VST's, I think you might be getting confused. The only way you can improve this is by reducing your buffer si...

It would be even more annoying if the delay was chopped off abrubtly when you stopped your set in a live situation.

Then why didn't you post in "feature requests"?

Aren't plug-in instruments already sample accurate in Live? I'm not aware of any delay reaction time from internal midi. Maybe you can teach me something I didn't know. :)

bumping again Still hoping I can get the track delay to work on a midi track during recording. (it only works during playback) I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to do this. Have you all figured it out and working well, so you're not interested in this post? If so, please post how you got ...

You don't have to use .wav. You can use .aiff too.  Disk space is cheap. I say go with 256k mp3 or don't bother to compress at all if you have the space. 192 AAC is sounds very very good to me, almost the same as uncompressed, but Live doesn't play AAC. :( There's something funny that ha...

I've got it now. And it works wonderfully. It has the same sense of being an instrument and not an app. that live has. Both the vst and au works, even though angus of fx recommends the vst for live Yes, it works as long as you only use engine 1. Once you move to the next level and try to trigger pa...

I don't think the compressors are so bad. They are nothing like my hardware compressor though, of course. But I haven't tried the L3 or any of that expensive stuff yet. One thing I don't understand is that there's NO visual feedback until you really crank down the threshold. You can start with a sig...
