I don't mind the new way so much, but they could definately tweak the intuitiveness of it. You guys do know that if you double click the top of your instrument box, it will go straight to the patches for that instrument, right? It took me awhile to figure that out. Knowing that makes it easier right...

Hey cool thanx Adam. I was wondering where that stuff went. Mine was installed already when I looked. So this got me looking for those goodies and I finally found everything in my application support folder. :D

Thanks for the insight. I am really intruiged by the Traveler except it seems too bulky..... a 828 Mk2 would probably fit in my M-Audio laptop rucksack better and is around 200 Euro cheaper. I travel a lot on public transport, so dimensions and weight are an issue unfortunately.. The traveler fits ...

Far as I know, you can only midi learn one cc command per parameter. Soon as you try to learn a knob on the x-station, it's gonna erase the faderfox on that parameter. Even if you tried to save a set for each controller, I don't know how you could work on the song and save it Unless there's somethin...

I wonder if this has something to do with compatibility between L4 and L5. When you open a L4 set in L5 you can open it in either version until you save it in L5. Soon as you save it in L5, there's no going back to L4 for that set. Live's effects have a "compatibility mode" now or something like tha...

I record my hardware stuff all the time too. The jomox xbase and access virus I do the recording with mostly. I sync the xbase to Live w/midi clock and add a negative clock delay to get it perfectly in sync. I play the virus straight to audio, but I'd like to program the notes, sequences and arpeggi...

Just dove in and upgraded to 5 soon as it came out. So good so far. Reasons to ugrade for me were (in order of importance): 1. individual track delay setting & separate midi clock delays per midi port 2. PDC (and option to turn it off to save CPU) 3. freeze tracks 4. updated clip transport 5. arpegg...

Are you using iDrum 1.0.3? iDrum 1.0.3 working fine here with L5.0.1 and Tiger. Check and sure you have the latest version in your components folder. 1.0.3 came out only a month ago I think.

Goodmorning, enjoy your coffee, tea, whatever. Like I said in 2 posts ago, I am software monitoring everything. Of course IF I am recording my instruments live, I will monitor direct through the mixer intead. Not the case here though. Actually, when recording, it doesn't make any difference i...

Ok, I checked it out. That's just a lesson on how to set your overall latency which I've done properly since I started using Live about 2 years ago. The lesson was terrific and very well done, but has nothing to do with adjusting for midi reaction times from an external synth. In fact, just for kick...
