Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
A hip hop producer on instagram about two weeks ago by the name of Ski Beatz who uses ableton posted a picture on instagram for about 5 minutes in which he took down, but in the picture was ableton and he said something along the lines of my ableton connect just came through and some big things are...

Re: touchAble 3 is out! Now connects via simple USB cable & more
I've been using it occasionally since right after the first version came out and came here to say that this release is the first one I've been able to just get locked in a zone with it. I didn't trust the previous wifi for versions for gigging, but now usb and that template add-on... woah, I need a ...

Re: Somethin' like Kontakt, Sampletank? (CROSS PLATFORM)
NI did a previous sale on June 28, doesn't mean that'll be same date this year. I'm waiting for it to go down to upgrade to kontakt/komplete.

how to do some of these Win things on a Mac?
I went with a Macbook pro this year and really am not sure why. I've been using Live on PC's since V2 and on IBM/Lenovo had minimal issues. Before this I was on Apple. Not at all interested in a flame war but am interested in figuring out how to do some things on Mac: 1. dual pane browser with short...

Re: Best controller for iPad?
I love Touchable on my ipad 3. Having some screen problems so ordered a refurb ipad 4, but second guessing it due to the mini being more powerful. Does anyone use any of these apps (touchable especially) on an ipad mini? Are you bugged by less screen real estate?

Re: Jamming with chords and Push
if you're ONLY using scale I would say Push's default functionality is fine. Are novations pads velocity sensitive? Fairly happy with Touchable and some other various hardware to control Live, but I'm at the point of wanting each controller to have a specific function like Push or Launchpad static ...

Re: Jamming with chords and Push
Cool vid. Looking at the feature sets for various PXT scripts for push and LPC for launchpad, it's hard to tell exactly what the differences in the scale mode functions are. Other than aftertouch with Push, anyone familiar with both scripts and know if there are advantages to the Push scripts over t...

Re: Missing dexterity, cheapest turntable to plug into ableton?
I should have added I don't need control over Live at all , I don't even need it to hook "into" Live like the bridge to nowhere Serato collab would have. Just want to manually mix the music back and forth (by ear) between a turntable/cdj/s4/midi-cdj-turntable-alternative(?) and do it as cheap as pos...

Missing dexterity, cheapest turntable to plug into ableton?
I'm just doing this for fun so I don't want to spend a lot of money on 1200's again, but I do miss the dexterity of a spinning wheel mixing and scratching. What's something current that doesn't feel too much like a toy that I can mix in with Ableton? Can be a cheap deck and mixer or all-in-one, I'm ...

yet another computer dilemma
I've been riding a 2007 Intel core duo 1.8 ghz Thinkpad until the wheels have started to come off. It's actually been a champ after I put the maximum 4gb of RAM and an SSD in it a couple years ago - "sometimes" handling Live a few VST's, Maschine, Firefox or Chrome, and Tweetdeck open at once (thoug...

Apogue duet 2 or RME babyface
I'm trying to decide between these two... leaning towards the babyface since I use Mac and PC. I've seen a couple blurbs where Apogee was playing up the Ipad capabilities of this sound card, does anyone know what advantages the Apogee has over the babyface specific to Ipad music making? Please discuss
