Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
Someone out there with a blog should collect all the juicy tips for each respectively and put it in a post. There is a lot of good stuff in here hidden amongst the noise.

Re: iPad
Jailbreaking IOS6 today, does anyone know how to keep infinifolders settings via PkgBackup (never worked well when I tried it a couple years ago) or is there a better app or method for this now? There's so much conflicting info out there, thanks for any heads up!

Re: Push and browser
I honestly cannot stress how little I want this feature. I think of Push as an instrument. If I want a different instrument's sound, I'll use that instrument. The only thing that could be added that would improve push would be the ability to record audio. I think that it's ridiculous that people ar...

Re: Push and browser
Ha, of course, Push would be crippled if you couldn't launch from session. From the browser is what I'm talking about too and that lacking seems like a huge oversight, but no doubt it's a technical thing or marketing to Push more users when they integrate that capability. I'm not bitching, I've neve...

Re: Push and browser
Well, I thought I'd be selling Maschine and buying Push...dennisdesantis: @alexbuga no, there's no clip loading. Push is meant for making new clips with a new workflow. It's not really a Live controller at all.

Re: Ableton racks, Geist, Maschine, Live 9
Weird question. I tried Geist Computer Music edition on Vista and, it really was beautiful even with half the features locked. With this particular edition, not sure of others, when I ran it within Live it changed my mouse pointer behavior somehow. When I would change a level in Ableton, my pointer...

Re: Ableton racks, Geist, Maschine, Live 9
Geist - no brainer. I've gotten into playing the scenes in Geist. You can literally write a song in a matter of minutes (just set up a few patterns) Fxpansion should pay me for being the numero uno fanboy on the forum.ableton.com website Used to do that with Guru and it was productive and fun. Seem...

More than anything I'm wondering what people are doing with Geist that racks+push+live9 can't?

Ableton racks, Geist, Maschine, Live 9
Thinking of jumping on this Fxpansion sale for Geist, and picking up Live 9 and push. Does anyone see redundancy getting Geist whilst having Push with the Live 9 integration? What are the advantages of Geist over Live 9's racks with Push ? Do own Maschine, it's not getting much use lately though. It...

Re: improving sound in a VERY small room
Had hopes of using the closet as a beats bomb shelter, though I think I'll just use the bedroom/living room as a studio again. Thanks for the replies all.
