I am looking for a good all-around soft synth solution for mobile song writing. Before I moved to an Intel Mac, I was using the Korg Legacy because I really like the MS-20 basses. Obviously, there are no "real" sounds in there. Just synths. I am looking into Kontakt. Can anyone give me an opinion on...

I freaking love it. Best audio interface I have ever used. I have eliminated 2 mixers from my setup with this little thing. LOVE IT!

The only tagger who ever mattered was Turk 182.

So has anyone contacted Ableton about this? I am just about ready to drop the $$ on the 37 key.

You are right about the M-Audio stuff. Terrible action. I have been pretty happy with my Alesis Photon...but its not as good as my old Roland XP-60.

Can anyone comment on what the key action is like on the Novation SL25? How does it compare to, say, the good Roland and Yamaha boards?

I have Live sync'ed to my drummer's copy of Live when we perform. If I lose sync for one reason or another, I can't get Live back on the clock without him hitting stop and start. This is a real drag. Is there any way to get Live re-sync'ed without a start command coming from the host computer? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I downloaded the manual and it didn't specifically say that the keyboard will play an external instrument while the knobs control software...so I am not totally sure.

If someone who is using the Novation SL 25 could answer this, I'd appreciate it. Can the SL "double task"? What I mean is, could I have it connected to my MacBook to use the buttons and faders and such to control Live AND have it MIDI'ed to my Moog Voyager rack to play it at the same time? On my Pho...
