Ha! That is what I thought the main reason would be!

There is a lot of talk about the Intel Macs being able to do this but what is the wisdom behind it? Why would you want to run Windows on a Mac? Because of some Windows exclusive progams?

So, is there something I can change in Ableton to get the track sends to match where the signal actually comes out?

It fits in the front pouch of my M-Audio back pack. I get my laptop, ultralite and Oxygen USB keyboard in there. Mobile recording studio!

I got mine yesterday and haven't had much chance to put it through the paces but so far it is GREAT! The ability to eliminate a mixer from my setup was the selling point. No latency monitoring can be routed through some of the outs so I can run my Moog into it and play it live without any latency......

It must have been some sort of anomaly but I set the overall latency back to zero and I am able to record just fine now.

And I can confirm that the Presonus Firepod works with the MacIntel stuff.

If I have some loops running and I go to change a patch on the Simpler, I get an audio glitch that is rather unpleasant. The same thing happens when I change patches on the ImpOSCar.

Anyone else ever try this or experience this? Any suggestions?

Kind of starting to sweat here...Beta expiration is a day or so away...I won't be able to use Live on my Macbook Pro without 5.2 or a new beta...

Could someone at least try this and tell me what happens when they do it?

Are they going to issue another beta so Intel Mac users can keep using it past the March 21 date??

Could the plug-in buffer have something to do with this?
