Re: Ableton Re-analysisng files every time i open a set.

Thanks vital, that sheds some more light on it, i think the set i was working on had become too big possibly, i've worked with some pretty big sets before with huge audio files in, and its never done it before though. I have never moved the actual audio files in question, or deleted their .asd files...

Re: Ableton Re-analysisng files every time i open a set.

i'm pretty sure its re-analyzing them, although now you say that i'm not so sure, what is the difference between it re analysing them and loading them? Maybe that's what was happening.

Re: Launchpad : tips n tricks, ideas, suggestions

My tip would be to have an accessable Key Commands editor, so viewing what key command does what and editing them is easy.

Re: How do you change key commands?

Hi,

I just tried it, but it didn't do anything. I set the up arrow to zoom in, but when i press it nothing happens. I'm finding it really hard to understand why on earth they don't have their own key commands editor.

Display more of the Zone window?

Hi guys,

Was just wondering if anyone knew how i could shorten the 'Zone' editor window so that it displays the keyboard range more and shortens the area on the left?

Re: Using Maschine to control Simpler....

Ah ok, thanks for that, thats brilliant.

I wonder if there's any pre mappings done already out there for download?

I'm going to make my own though for simpler, just so i can make it how i want it. It would be nice though if i could share it with others if they wanted to do something similar.

Thanks for any help and advice,

Re: Bouncing Audio problem

Ah ok, interesting, i did think with it being quite a tempo shift maybe something would happen.

Is it also wirth checking - Ableton preferences -> audio -> sample rate -> default SR & pitch conversion 'High Quality"?

Hi All, I have a track (mp3) that i put in ableton, did a couple of edits to it, then exported it as a wav file. The problem is the version i exported has lost a bit of it's volume and punch. I was expecting it to come back out with the same volume and clarity as the original. Am i doing something w...
