Re: Live takes a long time to load

Very slow to load and even slower to save in Live 9 for me.

Windows 7. 32 bit version.

The general slowness reminds me of an earlier version of Live (8 I think) before it was fixed.

NOTE: Original post is from 2009.

Re: Live 8 gets 64bit support.

Awesome news... Before I grab the beta, can anyone recommend a 32-bit vst bridging option for windows? Preferably one that's been tested with this release 64 bit release of live? I have a lot of plugins that are only 32bit, or I've neglected to previously install the 64bit version, so if a decent b...

Re: How is 8.3 so far?

Yes, I own a regular license since v6, a suite License since v7 and a m4l license since v8. And yes, at first prior to buying Live I used a cracked copy. Which failed on my miserably which was the reason I bought Live. So yes, I have knowledge of using cracked software and how it affects the system...

Re: How is 8.3 so far?

How is 8.3 so far? Much the same as before. It crashes a lot despite the advertised, 'improved stability'. One thing that brings instability to Live is the state of the system/OS itself. Do you manage your files correctly like proper archiving (or defragmentation if you're using Windows)? Do you us...

Re: Ableton! Will Live 9 be released before year 2015?

and ... will live 8 work (current 8.2.8 crash fest here) before any plans for live 9 are dared to be mentioned? At this stage I must have uttered the words .. 'f*ck (the bad kind) and Ableton' in the same sentence at least 10,000 times already. According to WIKI: Word Association is a common word ga...

Re: You can help us improve Live

Is there any real point to this?

I reported numerous crashes when the Bug report thing first came out.

Nothing of any real value has been fixed between then and now.

How can this software be so buggy after three years? I don't get it.

Think I'll skip this 'upgrade'.

Carry on. :)
