Re: Guitar rig 4 not working in Ableton

Hi rdevries. It's a YES from me!!! :) It's not enough to make a special Ableton folder with a shortcut to GR4Pro DLL in it. If you manage your VSTs in a similar way to me, you need to install GR4Pro right into your special Ableton VST Folder (it can be inside a sub folder within your specuial Ableto...

Re: Guitar rig 4 not working in Ableton

Eh ... yeah. I've just installed GR4. Updated it etc and it's not showing in Ableton 8.2.6

Windows 7

Maybe it is a plan by Native Instruments to get us to pay for the GR5 update.

Re: pHATmatik Pro VRS Ableton Live 7.0.14

I don't use it at all right now. I can't and besides, I'm interested in different areas of production at the moment. To be honest, I don't have any plans for it at the moment either.

Re: pHATmatik Pro VRS Ableton Live 7.0.14

That's weird that it could be considered "dead", yet it's still available for sale. It seems to work on Snow Leopard, however I haven't tried it with Lion yet. There are some weird things with it, like the save dialog boxes having jumbled characters & so on. But I haven't had any crashes or anythin...

Re: pHATmatik Pro VRS Ableton Live 7.0.14

How many of you are still using this? It hasn't been updated for a few years but according to iZotope, all their stuff should be working in Lion. What do you guys use do with it that you cannot do with Live? Do you think it's outdated or easier to use something else or has it stood the test of time...

I'm remixing one Track this weekend. It is no exaggeration to say that Ableton has crashed at least 60+ times on me so far. Still I wouldn't use anything else. It's the only DAW that 'speaks my language'.

Memory management seems so poor.

Top of my list.

Re: 70%CPU causing audio-crackle and heavy distortion

It's normal for me on a Laptop PC.

The one thing that made the biggest difference on my system was to turn off my wireless Internet connection.

I'm also learning how to produce better, so I don't need so many Tracks.

Re: Im living an Apocalipsis-like situation in my town-Volcanic

That's pretty crazy. I've been through an volcano/ash storm a couple years back. They're impressive but that ash can really do a number on your lungs. Be sure to wear a respirator for the while. And put a nylon stocking on your air intake on your vehicle... Take care. As a fellow musician, I was su...

Re: Plugin delay compensation. WTF?

I have the same issue w/ izotope OZONE, whether it's on master channel or individual channel it creates latency and automtion issues. I'll post a set tonight when i get in the studio, maybe you can figure it out for me as i'm currently avoiding the plugin all together which right seems like a waste...

Re: Ableton sales strategy disappointment

I think it's unfair that you got a cheap upgrade to begin with.

Most dissapointing deal I had last year was upgrading another DAW for 200 EUR
The very next day, the upgrade price was slashed to 100 EUR

I wrote to them but never received a reply. :(
