Sound Quality Issue when Exporting Audio

Hi all, Sorry to post about this topic again, but I'm having trouble with Live's exported audio... It's a strange situation and I cannot figure out where I'm doing wrong.. I have an track that I had exported to wav (sample rate 96000, Bit Depth 24 and Dither Triangular) that sound very bad in the sy...

Copy envelope for multiple parameters at once

Hi, There is any way to copy the envelope for ALL the automated parameters from on clip to another in arrangement??? I explain. If I have 2 clips in arrangement, same track, each clip has differents MIDI notes, so I cannot copy entire clip, I want to only copy the envelopes for all automated paramet...

Re: From studio to live act (Techno / House) : need your help!

You are welcome!!! About the group I think that work as you pointed, if the group is closed, it´s mapped to a single button, if is open you will have one button to each track in the group. Need to test this, don´t remember now. About the mastering, you can always have some good mastering plugins wit...

Re: From studio to live act (Techno / House) : need your help!

When you speak about the tracks from your selected productions, do you keep all the tracks separated or do you group them as in Cosm's videos? You said you got some grouped tracks, how do you "group" them? To make things more "simple" I simply group all drums tracks (Kicks, Claps, Snares, etc) in o...

Re: From studio to live act (Techno / House) : need your help!

Everyone has particular preferences to define an "Live" set. I can share my setup and maybe you can get some ideas. I like to have 2 tracks for mixing "comercial" tracks that I like, in this tracks I put some effects and the EQ3 to remember an analog mixer. Then I have another "X" tracks, depending ...

Re: why so much secretism about Live 9?

Maybe this can be true for music software companies, just because they don´t have companies as clients, and this allow than to hide new version features from the public at all, with corporate customers, generally software companies need to give to customers roadmaps. You are right, we are not specia...

Re: why so much secretism about Live 9?

i mean other software companies talk open and wide about their new and upcoming releases.. give an example or stop making threads. It´s a common practice to software companies to have a "roadmap" to new product releases to customers know about the future of the software they buy. You can include IB...

Re: why so much secretism about Live 9?

I know live has come a long way over the years...and while 7-8 wasn't a HUGE change as it was from 6-7 (or was it 5-6?). Point being, while new features are always nice and welcome, have people truly pushed live in its current form to the point its a useless tool and they NEED some new features? Wh...

Re: ABLETON SHOULD MAKE A STRICLY DJ MODE

Implementing features is easy. Avoiding to add too much is complicated. Every single thing we implement has to stay in this software for ever. I spend a lot of time watching other users. Every single button on the interface is a potential problem and confuses users. The software is supposed to be s...

Re: ABLETON SHOULD MAKE A STRICLY DJ MODE

and workaround for dj´s are ok.. work arounds for live musicans not..they dont have so much time on stage as a dj and often not even a hand free.. So, I suppose that workarounds to producers are OK too right? Ableton should help us on this because thats also interesting for live acts.. and this wit...

Re: ABLETON SHOULD MAKE A STRICLY DJ MODE

on records you cant watch the tracks of two records simultaniously either... Oh, Really??? I always had to be able to see the 2 decks, so watching two records simultaniously... Even if I had only one eye.   that would help to get quicker acces.. but in general you also just can s...
